Objectives
Students will be able to
  • work co-operatively to gather information and make decisions about travel destinations
  • make simple statements about places where they would like to go

Activity
This is a type of jigsaw activity. Four students play the role of travel agents for four destinations. (In the case of large classes, more students can play this role.) The travel agents set up information offices in the corners of the classroom. As well as the information sheets below, the travel agents may use extra information, such as the information cards and travel brochures. The other students form groups and decide who will go to which office. Using the question sheet, each student gains information from the travel agent and shares it with the group. The group then decides where they want to go.
