Skit 4

OUTLINE　あらすじ

This skit is based on the well-known fairy tale. Cinderella is living with her step- mother and two ugly sisters,who treat her like a slave. One day the local prince throws a ball (!), and the family is invited.
Thanks to the fairy godmother's magic Cinderella is able to go, and the prince choses Cinderella as his partner. But the magic only works till midnight, and she has to leave.
Will the prince ever find her again?!

Cinderella is scrubbing the floor.

わたしはシンデレラ(wa ta shi wa shi n de re ra)。

Yuuko and Hanako (ugly sisters) and Stepmother come out and sing a song.

ゆうこ：(yu u ko)

わたしはきれい(wa ta shi wa ki re i)。

Hanako repeats

ドレスはきれい(do re su wa ki re i)。

Hanako repeats

かみのけもきれい(ka mi no ke mo ki re i)。

Hanako repeats

ハイヒールもきれい(ha i hi ru mo ki re i)。

Hanako repeats

おかあさん：(o ka a sa n)

むすめはきれい(mu su me wa ki re i)。

はやく(ha ya ku)、はやく( ha ya ku)。

Yuuko, Hanako and Stepmother prepare for the ball.

シンデレラ：(shi n de re ra)

わたしもダンスパーティーにいきたい(wa ta shi mo da n su paa tii ni i ki ta i)。

Cinderella starts crying.
Fairy Godmother appears, and using magic makes Cinderella a beautiful ball dress.

ようせい：(yo u se i)

だいじょうぶよ(da i jo bu yo)。
ドレスをきて(do re su o ki te)、パーティーにいきましょう(paa tii ni i ki ma sho u)。

Cinderella changes into the dress, and heads for the ball.

ようせい：(yo u se i)

まって(ma tte)、１２じまでよ( jyuni ji ma de yo)。いってらっしゃい( i tte ra ssha i)。

シンデレラ：(shi n de re ra)

はーい(ha i)。いってきます( i tte ki ma su)。

Everyone is dancing. Stepmother, Yuuko and Hanako greet the prince and try to attract his attention.

ゆうこ：(yu u ko)

こんばんは(ko n ba n wa)、おうじさま( o u ji sa ma)。わたしはゆうこです( wa ta shi wa yu ko de su)。

はなこ： (ha na ko)

こんばんは(ko n ba n wa)、おうじさま( o u ji sa ma)。わたしははなこです(wa ta shi wa ha na ko de su)。

おうじさま：(o u ji sa ma)

こんばんは(ko n ba n wa)、はじめまして(ha ji me ma shi te)。

Prince sees Cinderella and walks towards her.

おうじさま：(o u ji sa ma)

すみません(su mi ma se n)、ダンスをしましょう(da n su o shi ma sho)。

Cinderella and Prince dance. Sound of the clock at 12.

とけい：(to ke i)

１２じです(juni ji de su)。

Cinderella starts running and drops her shoe.

おうじさま：(o u ji sa ma)

まってー(ma tee)、おなまえは( o na ma e wa)・・・

Prince picks up her shoe.

おうじさま：(o u ji sa ma)

とてもちいさいくつですね(to te mo chi i sa i ku tsu de su ne)。

Prince and his servant come to Cinderella's house looking for the person who fits the shoe. Servant 1 gives the shoe to Yuko.

けらい１： (ke ra i)

どうぞ(do u zo )、はいてください( ha i te ku da sa i)。

ゆうこ： (yu u ko)

ちいさい(chi i sa i)・・・

けらい１：(ke ra i)

だめだめ(da me da me)。

Servant 2 gives the shoe to Hanako.

けらい２：(ke ra i)

どうぞ(do u zo)、はいてください( ha i te ku da sa i )。

はなこ： (ha na ko)

ちいさい(chi i sa i)・・・

けらい２：(ke ra i)

だめだめ(da me da me)。

Prince looks at Cinderella.

おうじさま：(o u ji sa ma)

どうぞ(do u zo)、はいてください( ha i te ku da sa i)。

シンデレラ：(shi n de re ra)

はい(ha i)、ああ( a a)、ちょうどいい(cho u do i i )。

おうじさま：(o u ji sa ma)

けっこんしましょう(ke kko n shi ma sho u)。

シンデレラ：(shi n de re ra)

はい(ha i)。

おうじさま：(o u ji sa ma)
