Since 1994
the Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre has been producing
activity resources which contain activities, exercises and stimulus
materials for primary and secondary Japanese language learners.
These sets of activity resources are available on application under
the Centre's donation program.
This resource is designed to help teachers with multi-level classes,
but the activities and tasks can be used in all classrooms. The
methodology and strategies, and the example tasks and activities
introduced in this resource target upper primary and secondary students.
It is hoped that teachers will not only use the tasks and activities
as they are, but will change and reapply them to suit the needs
of their students.
The Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre hopes that regular issues
of these resources will give teachers a greater range of activities
to choose from and thereby enhance their teaching programs. |

The Activity
Resources are copyright. However, The Japan Foundation Sydney
Language Centre gives permission for copies to be made by teachers
without commercial gain in quantities sufficient for use by bona-fide
students.
This
issue was produced by the advisory lecturers Himiko Negishi-Wood
and Cathy Jonak. The activities introduced here include
ideas which have been collected from various teachers over the
years. We would like to thank the lecturers at the Nihongo
Tanken Centre for the role play activity on page 18. We gratefully
acknowledge those ideas whose origin is unknown to us, and we
welcome any comments and feedback on this resource. |
