The Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre plans to produce four sets of activity resources every year. These sets of activity resources will be available under the Centre's donation program and therefore can be requested in the same way as our standard donation items.

Following Activity Resources 1 - February 1994, The Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre has produced the second set of activity resources, Activity Resources 2 - May 1994. Both issues are now available at the Centre.

You will be informed about the availability of both new sets and back numbers in future issues of DEAR SENSEI. The resources contain activities, exercises and resources for teachers created by the advisory lecturers at the Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre. All activities include instructions, and the level of the activities is aimed at upper primary to secondary students.

It is hoped that teachers will not only use these activity resources as they are, but will change them to suit their needs and will apply the ideas in them to other language items.

The activity resource materials are on thick paper with binder holes. This has been done so that you can keep them in ring binder files and add to them as new sets are produced.

The Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre hopes that regular issues of these resources will give teachers a greater choice of activities for their students and thereby help to make their classes interesting.
