The
Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre plans to produce
four sets of activity resources every year. The first set, Activity
Resources 1 - February 1994, is included with this issue of DEAR
SENSEI. Thereafter, you will be informed about the availability
of both new sets and back numbers in future issues of DEAR SENSEI,
and you will be able to obtain them by written request.
The resources contain activities and exercises created by the advisory
lecturers at the Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre. All activities
include instructions, and the level of the activities is aimed at
upper primary to secondary students.
It is hoped that teachers will not only use these activity resources
as they are, but will change them to suit their needs and will apply
the ideas in them to other language items.
The activity resource materials are on thick paper with binder holes.
This has been done so that you can keep them in ring binder files
and add to them as new sets are produced.
The Japan Foundation Sydney Language Centre hopes that regular issues
of these resources will give teachers a greater choice of activities
for their students and thereby help to make their classes interesting.
